The Role:

The Social Media + Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a creative social media strategy and partnerships program to connect with the Bliss community (inclusive of fans and ambassadors) across all social media channels. This person will craft, curate, produce, and schedule content that engages our audiences and is optimized for cross-platform distribution. We. Are. All. About. Our. Tribe.

This person is responsible for community management to ensure the best possible consumer experience in a very public domain. This person will pull together a strategy to collaborate in meaningful and authentic ways with influencers, brands and celebrities to drive the brand’s purpose forward. Due to the need for strong storytelling capabilities, this person must have strong copy-writing skills and an eye for curated content development while also being fiercely passionate about driving community and brand purpose and values. This role requires someone who is artistic, a critical thinker, resourceful and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or additional three years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience – marketing, creative, communications, journalism
    • 3+ years in social media or ad agency social media experience is required
    • In-depth knowledge of the creative and technical specs for each social media platform
    • Building/executing influencer & celebrity partnerships and working with brands for collaborations
    • An existing social presence as well as a portfolio of content you have curated
  • Creativity – An eye for content curation (Design) and photography, video, and graphic editing skills
  • Communication & Adaptability – Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Teamwork – Works well with others in a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment.
  • Organizational skills – Excellent attention to detail; strong multi-tasking skills
  • Kaizen – A desire to strive for continuous improvement
  • Alignment – Passionate/knowledgeable about organic foods, sustainable business practices, and fostering an inclusive and socially just workplace
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of desktop publishing and visual and audio editing tools, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier Pro; Illustrator and/or InDesign is a plus
    • Basic food photography skills including knowledge of lighting, composition, props, backgrounds, and use of equipment and software; intermediate+ knowledge of DSLR camera is a plus
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and social media scheduling and influencer management tools
  • Schedule is 45+ hrs/wk, primarily during business hours, some regular evening/weekend work required
  • Travel: Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and be willing to travel approximately 30% to visit headquarters office, and attend brand community events and capture content accordingly
  • Physical: Most work is done sitting and/or standing at a desk, using a computer and phone, in a typical office environment or the employee’s home office

What you’ll do:
Social (45 %)

  • Develops and implements strategic, creative and highly measurable social media programs and campaigns, with user engagement and experience in mind that aligns with our brand strategy
  • Creates and manages master content calendar and day-to-day posting on main channels, creates compelling copy and produces visual content to support brand content pillars, product launches, etc..
  • Establishes and leads community management; builds and nurtures online communities; monitors and replies to inquiries received via social media (reviews, comments, likes, mentions, etc.)
  • Delivers monthly reporting on social and influencer performance monitoring against aligned KPIs
  • Monitors trends in social media channels, tools, and metrics and appropriately applies that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of the program; remains current on social media industry developments
  • Creates and is able to lead a crisis management plan for social climate and culturally relevant situations
  • Works with vendors and channel partners at Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and others

Influencer/Partnerships (45 %)

  • Develops Influencer and Partnerships strategy and plan to align with brand goals
  • Develops and manages comprehensive influencer campaigns from start to finish that will hit KPIs
  • Utilizes a variety of tools for researching and scaling multi-tiered influencers and identifying new influencers
  • Creates influencer tracking parameters and reporting, analyzing the data to make informed decisions
  • Conducts competitive research, relevant industry trends and platforms
  • Seeks out, establishes relationships with and collaborates with brand ambassadors and content creators; implements content development process and guardrails.
  • Works collaboratively and cross-functionally with all company departments to maximize influencer presence and performance across channels (legal, innovation, E-comm, creative, paid social, etc.)
